Barras de jengibre apio y fresas
Ingredientes
1 ½ tazas de avena en hojuelas
1 taza de harina todo uso
¾ taza de panela molida
¾ taza de mantequilla fría
1 ½ tazas de apio finamente picado
1/3 taza de azúcar morena
¼ taza de agua
½ cucharadita de jengibre en polvo
2 tazas de fresas troceadas
PARA EL GLASEADO:
¼ taza de azúcar pulverizada
¼ cucharadita de jengibre en polvo
1 cucharada de leche
Preparación
Paso 1: PRECALIENTA el horno a 350ºF o a 180ºC.
Paso 2: FORRA la base y los laterales de un molde cuadrado con papel de aluminio y engrásalo. Integra la avena, la harina, la panela molida y la mantequilla fría. Reserva 1 taza y media de masa.
Paso 3: EXPANDE el resto sobre la base del molde y hornea durante 15 minutos.
Paso 4: COCINA en una sartén el apio finamente picado, el azúcar morena, el agua y el jengibre de 8 a 10 minutos. Agrega las fresas troceadas y reserva media taza de la mezcla.
Paso 5: VIERTE sobre el molde con la masa pre horneada.
Paso 6: MEZCLA las masas reservadas y esparce sobre la anterior.
Paso 7: HORNEA de 30 a 35 minutos.
Paso 8: SACA del horno, deja reposar, esparce el glaseado y porciona.
